The Ice Queen

Time to apply what I've learned into something seriously SFX!

Starting with her natural skin tone, getting rid of a deep tan is harder than you would think! White base followed by a very cool blue. This is how the Ice Queen started.

The Ice Queen finished!

Imagine her with White hair, white contacts and a frost crown and you are there. The masquerade ball won't know what hit them! :)

Things I learned from this experiment -

(Ice) Veining is awesome!

I built up one too many layers, and caking became an issue around the most highlighted areas, but found out the make-up I have can be applied with a brush, awesome (Lips and Veins were done this way)!

The Doilys I used were good, but the paper was prone to getting stuck on the caked make-up and pulling bits off, causing me to need to retouch all the time. Plus, a frosted pattern would be more appropriate (didnt have one at the time, but i'll see how my new stencil cutter performs!)

All in all, ready for the masquerade ball!
